IHOP (International House Of Poultry)?

Here in India, signs can be quite boastful. Instead of "Hamir's Chicken Store," you sees signs like this one:


Of course, step inside and it's a more local, intimate affair. We're not sure there really is any sort of National Poultry Center. Looks good on paper (poster)? No matter. "You want this bird, yes? Is this the bird for you, my friend?" Sometimes bigger isn't always better. Certainly not fresher.

Going All Medieval In The Streets

We showed you the classic car of India, the Ambassador. They're known for being tough, able to handle the rough terrain of India. How do they do it?

First, the car. We love the proud "Indian" windshield band. With apologies to Miami's Jim Mandich Awwlright Innndiahn!


Second, how they do it - classic, medieval chain mail (what the guy on the left is wearing). Forget wimpy plastic or rubber mudguards, you need to go medieval to stay on the rough roads of India.
