Eyes On The Road

In India, one of the basic things to paint on your vehicle is a set of eyes. Typically seen on commercial vehicles and tuk tuks, the eyes serve a couple of purposes. One reason is to make your truck or vehicle look like a face. The other is spiritual and related to Hinduism. The eyes act as an all seeing protector of the vehicle owner and his family -- seeing black magic and bad spirits and warding them off. In either interpretation, the eyes are a nice touch and look right at home with the usual headlights, etc.
