Kumbh Mela Business

If 100 million people show up to a flood plain over a couple of months, chances are they're going to need a few things. Presenting the vendors of the Kumbh Mela.

The potato boys, tractor for rural effect.

Plenty of sadhus and other vendors were available for bindi painting. Holy calf for authenticity. Selling smoking products, almost a back alley enterprise.

The Doctor (center) is in.

If not the doctor, go visit the mini medicine shop van. Or go hang out with the teenagers at the Kumbh version of the neighborhood soda fountain.

The blanket sellers.
