Plastic Figures Of Berlin

Why do plastic, bubbly figures draw people? Why does James photograph them? A vicious circle.

Like many cities across the globe, Berlin adopted an animal and had a bunch or artists do an interpretation. We've seen cows in Mexico City, chickens in Miami, Crabs in Baltimore. The bear, an official mascot of Berlin, was the easy choice. This is a bear representing all the countries of the European Union. Fitting theme, placed opposite a section of the Berlin Wall.

Let's eat, ice cream for kids, beer for adults. Or vice versa.

Let's really eat. That Bear again, hoisting a huge hot dog.

Seahorse on land. Ice cream bonus, the trash can edition.

The Michelin Man, mounted on an old Mercedes bus.
