They don't mess around at the prison museum in Melaka, showing off all sorts of torture methods used throughout history (although most of them didn't occur at the prison) alongside what it looks like to be on death row. Nothing is pretty.
Torture cage. You get locked in it, maybe raised up in some courtyard, left for dead. No sustenance, animals attacking you, people stoning you. No thanks.
