Aren't I adorable? Here I am at Canberra's Lake Burley Griffin. Balls are fun.
What a hoot! I'm now in the Belconnen neighborhood, strolling in front of a strange statue of an owl. Somehow, I grew to be the size of a Tesla.
Time to eat! Here I am in front of the home center Bunnings. They host sausage sizzles to raise money for charity. This pic is definitely AI, otherwise I would eat 100 sausages and then throw up.
Go NRL Raiders! That's National Rugby League. I look buff in my Raiders jersey. Thanks AI! But why does AI think no one wants to sit near me?
I don't have a car. Or a bike. I do have a bus pass and get to wait in Canberra's cute bus shelters. Except that's not me. AI is weird.
I'm sorry/not sorry I hacked this year's Hello Talalay holiday post. I'm a dog, I don't have moral capacity.
I do have my own Instagram profile and you should follow me: @belkalakeland
Woof!

Happy Holidays to you all down under!

ReplyDeleteBelka and parents—
ReplyDeleteIt’s Christmas morning. I’m playing a battery of Xmas tunes off Lines n’Lyrix to keep me company as wife Margie and daughter Sylvie whip up goodies in the kitchen. I'm listening to this Double Feature - Baby, It’s Cold Outside. https://www.doppeltlines.com/xmas-answer-2.html. Keep warm and toasty down under. If you haven’t watched Offspring, I recommend it highly.
Fondly into the year ahead and beyond. Best, Jack

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas from Miami!!
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays, Belka! Love your Canberra adventures, although Raiders fans probably stayed away because they heard you ate 100 snags. Do you have a box? I take my Boxing Day duty seriously and have been sitting in mine all day. Well, tell your parents that Kathryn in Melbourne says, "Hi and Happy New Year!" Your feline friend, Lucy
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays from
ReplyDeleteChoi family in Hawaii.
Have a wonderful holiday season, Sarah, James and potentially AI dog. The Quinlans are in Sydney enjoying R&R. It’s summer, why is it so cold?! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays to you and yours! Such a cute pup! xo
ReplyDeleteLoved this walk down memory lane across Canberra! We’re hoping to visit in July - will you still be there?
ReplyDeleteHi Belka, Sarah and James. Hope you're enjoying the festive season down under. Christmas in England is much the same as it was when you, Sarah, were at primary school with me during the 1970's. Sending love and best wishes for 2026 from Joanne and Lady (my equivalent of Belka).
