Going International At Cockington Green Gardens

Once you've built out quaint, miniature England, time to go international with some of the world's most iconic places. Especially if some of the local Canberra embassies are happy to sponsor a model.

A Ukrainian cupcake, St. Andrews church.

Don't be afraid to show your crest. St. Mark's church in Zagreb, Croatia. Heading to Asia, the impressive Lahore gate of the Red Fort in Agra, India.

As it was, the good life on a terrace. Israel's Masada, in reconstruction.

What color to paint your house? Any color! The La Boca neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Hmm. Mining headframe, representing Australia. Suck it, Sydney Opera House.

Brutal, in a fantastic way. The Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban parliament building of Bangladesh. Designed by the concrete-loving architect, Louis Kahn.

Jama Masjid, Delhi

This grand mosque makes a grand statement in the old part of Delhi. It's the biggest mosque in India, capable of holding 20,000-25,000 worshippers for a packed service. Completed around 1656 by Shah Jahan, the Jama Masjid dominates the surrounding busy neighborhood and makes a nice compliment to the Red Fort that sits a few blocks east.

The busy courtyard just inside the east gate.

The steps outside are busy with people hanging out, waiting on family and friends, similar to New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. Heading through a gate, the mosque in the distance.

More outside action, selling sweets or posing for a portrait.

Inside the majestic mosque, always time for a prayer.
