Port Dickson, Malaysia

About an hour and a half south of Kuala Lumpur, on the straits of Malacca, sits the small town of Port Dickson. It's kind of a gritty place, an old port town that's been spun into a cheap beach resort.

Leisure and commerce, mingling.

A Day At The Beach In Freetown, Sierra Leone

Growing up on the East coast of the United States as James and Sarah did, it's strange to see the Atlantic Ocean on a West Coast. There it is, right in Sierra Leone's capital and largest city, Freetown. Everything else is the same, sandy beach, some surf. And kids and families hanging out and enjoying the location.

At The Surf In Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is tropics all the way, including stunning beaches. They are different from a white sand, Caribbean hideaway, more beige and attached to permanent fishing communities. But when that sun starts to dip, the beauty is universal.
