The Hood-Penn Museum In Westonia, Australia

There's no shortage of small historical museums in rural Australia, houses of highlights for shires far from big cities. Westonia has a nice museum, full of local artifacts that are made more impressive by a set of wax figures. Time to meet the characters of Westonia.

Friendly bartender.

Homemaker, suspected to be Sissy Spacek. Blacksmith.

Mine manager. Lots of care taken with the wax figure designs, right down to the fingers.

Shopkeeper.
