Getting Your Dam Fill In Australia

Nothing like visiting a dam to appreciate large amounts of concrete and water. Such a simple concept requires such effort and mega structures. Impressive.

Hello massive Hume Dam. It spans the Murray River in New South Wales.

The back side of the floodgate section of the dam at Eildon. The picnic area overlooking Lake Eildon, plenty of room.

Definitely a Do Not Enter situation.

Plenty of friendly spaces for people at Lake Eildon, including a classic, wavy, kidney shaped pavilion. Back at Hume Dam, the flood gate guides make an impressive presence.

Dam giveaway, the stark drift of the water line.
