Meandering in Missoula, Montana

Missoula's a funky kind of town, a bit like Austin, Texas was oh, so long ago. A western place, some tourist shops, a music scene and the usual places that a college atmosphere brings in restaurants, stores, hangouts. Let's drop in for a look.

What's to do? Watch the trains go by.

Maybe hang out with salmon likenesses? You can find flying fish in a downtown park and on railings.

Yup, watch that train go by.

Utility boxes are painted up all pretty, a nifty idea also seen in Taipei.

Sun setting on a longtime business.

More funk, a "Mancave" barber shop and a "Magical" box.

Don't worry, there's a train for everyone who's interested in watching one go by.
