Figuratively Speaking At Wat Muang

Having one of the world's biggest Buddhas is just a warm up. The real fun at Wat Muang is wandering the vast collection of painted concrete figures. The usual legends, morality tales and fables are illustrated. Fun for the whole believing family.

Great battles are always popular, especially against your neighbor, Myanmar. Fight!

Being injured isn't pretty. Eat concrete and bleed out.

Getting old stinks. In Thailand, dogs chase you up a tree.

Lessons in creative stabbing. Slice a shoulder, axe a head.

How about spearing a throat?  So many weapons, so many bodies.

She monster. One of the lineups of figures that could be you, lest you be turned into one of them. Punishment knows many hideous manifestations.

Maybe being an alien ape could be fun.
