Australia For Dummies, Part One

There are plenty of opportunities to see some real, live, dead, plastic dummies in Australia. Just head to any museum that's showing off some history and you're bound to run into a friendly figure, dying (dead?) to impart a little lesson.

War horse. At the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

Ansett Airways flight attendant. Unlucky mental patient in the Ararat gaol.
Soldier dandy, Australian War Memorial.
Another inmate at the Ararat Gaol. Victorian belle at the Monte Cristo Homestead in Junee.
Faithful dog at the Australian National Surfing Museum.
