A Fizzy Holiday

Continuing our holiday mall theme, Sarah and James ran across this impressive display. Seems Santa enjoys architecture and soda. Product placement run amok.

Starting waay back in time, when in Rome, hoist a cola.

Moving up the coast in Italy, leaning over too much lemon soda. In America, going on a diet (coke) to build a squat Empire State Building.

Loading up on liter bottles in Paris.

Rooting (beer) for Big Ben. The tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifah in the UAE. And in coke cans in KL.

A bit of everything for the Taj Mahal.

Getting Mighty Crowded In Rome

Go to Rome. See the sites. Just be prepared to see the sites with many other people. Many, many, many other people.

Head to the Spanish Steps. Just don't expect to climb them, now renamed the Spanish Seats.

Plenty of fine paintings to see in the churches in Rome. And plenty of people. It's amazing, no surface left un-photographed.

Trevi fountain, rumored to still contain water. Snapping pics, an extreme sport, passed down from mother to daughter.

Thank you, Rome, you've been a great host. But our space has been bumped, and it's time to head back to Lithuania and see how the winter's going.

Wasting Time At The Roman Colosseum

Stealing lines from a Bob Dylan song, time to go dodge some lions. And we can hardly stand to see 'em.

Ready to see it? Just make sure you get your picture - "I was witness!"

The place doesn't disappoint, even sans floor and a bunch of the upper sections. And the canvas top. People - about 50,000. Some lions. Bears. Human and other flesh being ripped. Still, it doesn't disappoint.
