Visiting Villa Necchi Campiglio, The Private Quarters

You've lounged downstairs for a while, time to tuck in for the night at Villa Necchi Campiglio. The upstairs of the villa offers more moderne stylings and plenty more Italian luxury.

Don't ever make me get out of bed!

The interesting hallway, barrel ceiling, lines of doors, half rooms, half closets, all hidden. One of the giant bathrooms.
What to wear, what to wear.

Another bedroom and the intercom directory. You can ring up the tennis court. Eat it, Downton Abbey.

Don't ever make me get out of the bath!

Visiting Villa Necchi Campiglio

You want to live the fantasy of being an early 20th century Italian industrialist? Go see the Villa Necchi Campiglio in Milan, walk the rooms, imagine the big family you have, the sleek hounds, the servants, the rich dinners. An amazing life.

Tilda Swinton imagined such a life in the fantastic Italian move, "I Am Love." See the movie, then see the house. Read more about the villa here.

Welcome to the art moderne masterpiece. If it's nice, we won't call it Fascist architecture.
