Details At Palazzo Vecchio In Florence

The Palazzo Vecchio is the town hall of Florence. Iconic tower, ripped off by our Baltimore hometown for the ignominious Bromo Seltzer tower. Iconic location next to the Uffizi gallery. Once the home for Michelangelo's David sculpture. Still filled with rich details and art work.

The reason to visit. The Bronzino chapel. End of story.

Painting and sculpture, detente.

The ceilings are also the stars of the place, many rooms heavy with decoration.

Herding details, a secret door and a velvet rope.

No kidding about the ceilings.
