Khon Kaen is a city in Northeast Thailand, known as a bit of a college town, gateway to the north highlands, cradle of Isan. And whatever else worth mentioning.

OK, a smattering of historical architecture is hidden in plain sight. Old wood mansions, houses on stilts, the usual vernacular styles for a lot of Asia.
