Imagining The Rich Life Of A Duke At Venice's Museo Querini Stampalia

Conte Giovanni Querini Stampalia gave his family home to Venice in 1869, under the condition that the city keep it accessible and use it as a cultural center. The Stampalia ancestral loss is our fantasy gain. Time to imagine life as a 19th century duke, as soon as we pay our museum admission.

Terrazzo floors, painted ceilings, dripping marble. We're staying.

Easy on the eyes details.

Goldilocks will take this bed.

Art work, wallpaper and rich finishing materials.

Pleasantly plush.
