Every city, town has 'em: traditional markets, usually open air, full of fruits, veggies, meat, seafood and smells. They're also becoming endangered, a victim of the relentless march of the hypermarket.

No guts, no glory. One reason the old markets are losing customers, the preference for a pre-packaged experience while food shopping. A shame.
