Prangin Mall In Penang, Sleeping

Chinese New Year is a huge deal in Malaysia and closed stores are proof of families shutting down for the holiday. Some malls don't escape the shutdown, leaving a bit of an impression that they've turned into a dreaded dead mall.

The Prangin Mall, looking deserted.

Decorations are up, not much action. Correction, no action.

Sometimes, the identity of a merchant shines through the security roll-ups.

Pineapple camera rig and a slight sign of life, an open arcade.

Down another wing.
