Catacombs of Agia Solomoni

Between a busy road in Paphos and backyards full of refuse sits the Catacombs of Agia Solomoni. There's a little underground church dedicated to Solomoni, a Jewess regarded as a saint. She reportedly witnessed the torture of her seven children.

Beyond the church chamber, there are other cave-like chambers, whose original purpose is unclear. Today, there is less uncertainty, as evidenced by the empty beer cans, strewn clothes and a mattress.  Party on, Cypriots.

Yep, you've found the place, just past the stacked junk.

Chambers.

Getting some sin.

And then getting saved.
