All Wrapped In Vinyl In Bishkek

They've gone crazy for vinyl signage in Bishkek - perhaps pent up demand from all those years of only seeing Soviet propaganda posters. The stuff is everywhere, advertising all sorts of things. If there's an expansive surface, there's vinyl ready to cover it.

Bringing the fantasy of grocery shopping to the outside of the store.

Selling a school. Cake crazy.

The glamour of juxtaposition.

Selling the future, nostalgic for the past.

Getting graphic at your fast food shack.

Pushy coverage. Down the stairs of a hair salon, pasting over a windshield.

Getting desperate. No amount of vinyl can mask the condition of this building.
