Guan Di Temple In Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur may be hurtling toward a modern, skyscraper-filled skyline yet some significant structures remain. For Chinatown, the Guan Di Temple, built in 1886 and dedicated to the God of war, is one of the landmarks that anchors the neighborhood.

Entrance.

Looking at the main prayer area.

Burning things is big, prayers to prosperity and incense.

Details, sculptures and offerings of food, always impressive.

Altar area detail, a color feast for the eyes.
