The Churches Of Vilnius, Lithuania

Vilnius is a town of churches and the most beautiful ones can be found in its Old Town section. Walk a block and you can't help but bump into a Baroque beauty. Head inside and be doubly amazed at the care and effort taken to bring decoration to another (heavenly?) level.

Let's start at the oldest church in town, St Nicholas. Dated about the 14th century, it's a modest affair compared to what's to come. Bonus? We have a beautiful view from our apartment!

Moving on to Baroque fantasies, early 1600s.

The inside of an Old Town church, looking like a sweet cake.

Don't forget to ceiling gaze.

More blocks, more unique churches.

Another interior, definitely not the same as other interiors.
