Slipping By The Sigmund Freud Museum In Vienna

Sigmund Freud's famous house in Vienna is now a museum, dedicated to his history and work in psychoanalysis. The majority of the space, where he and his family lived for 47 years before fleeing the Nazis during WWII, is a museum space with one room still preserved as Freud's waiting area. Most of his original office furnishings are in London, where he settled after fleeing.

The simple nameplate.

More calling cards and an ashtray. The fortified inside front door.

Waiting to see the famous doctor.

  1. The ashtray is priceless. Sometimes a cigar...just needs an ashtray.
