Apartment Living In Bishkek

Whenever we head to a far off land, everyone always wants to know about the housing. Are we in something like Versailles or a yurt? Usually an apartment or house similar to what you'd find back in the States. Maybe a few quirks.

Stoney lobby with pony picture.

Central hallway, nightclub-like wrapped wall with strategic lighting. Living room, furniture randomly placed. You get what you get.

And then there are the challenging spaces to fill. Throne chair.

Kitchen. When certain appliances aren't common, installation can sometimes be curious. Notice the oven opening onto the counter. Built-in bedroom.

Exercise room. Maybe best to get your ironing done and get back to reality.
