Petroglyphs At Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan

Carving rocks in the hot sun, that's what they did way back when near the town of Cholpon Ata at lake Issyl-Kul in Kyrgyzstan.

You get your typical hunting scenes, some animals, guy stuff. Age, maybe 8,000 years, maybe carvings executed 8th-3rd century BC. Old.

It's a giant field of boulders. And power lines, a sign of the metal age.

Images!

And some nice flora.
