The hippest activity in St. Petersburg around 1:30 a.m? Watching a bridge open. Seriously, it's a big event in the summer when the city opens its bridges along the central Neva River for the night. Logistically, the openings allow for late night ship navigation. Emotionally, it's a late night reveler's party moment.
