Chennai, in deep South India, is one of those places they refer to with that old warhorse joke: It has three seasons: hot, hotter and hottest. Mostly true, save for a sliver of middle winter when you can walk around a bit and not come home and immediately have to change your clothes. It's nice.
Ear muffs? Really? And what did the thermometer say the day these pics were taken? Frost in the morning? Well, how about 27? Hey, that's plenty cold. For Fahrenheit. But we talk Celsius here in India so 27C is, uhm, 81F. Like we said, Baby, it's cold outside.
For the locals, it's treated more like a winter shiver. When the mercury dips, time to dig into your closet and man up. Suddenly, it's sweater weather.
Sometimes, a sweater just doesn't take the chill off. You need more.
