There's a temple to Ganesh in Pondicherry so naturally it has a resident elephant. She's a rockstar, hanging out at the temple entrance, drawing in the curious throngs. We didn't resist.

It's not all show and blow. Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth and she'll take a little rupee donation and then bless you with her trunk. Out the rupees came and down the trunk went!
