Fun With Japanese Products

The delicacies in Japan are wonderful, drawing from the rich resource of the sea and thousands of years of culinary achievement. And then there's the junk food.

Let's dive right in and start with some meat chips. In the US, there's no way a huge hunk of raw meat would be a selling point on a snack wrapper. In Japan, go figure.

Saltines are in Japan, but you gotta put something local on them. The usual soft serve flavors? Nope, we're talking all tea, whether green, brown or something in between.

Moving on to the in-edibles, oh, Hello Kitty! It's nice to know you have items for my body, like blood type tags (?) and something plush for my tush.
