James chose the weekend's hotel for its amazing view of the Petronas Towers -- and for its brilliant swimming pool ... which also has an amazing view of the towers. Those of you who know Sarah, know she loves a great pool. Especially a great hotel pool.
This lengthy pool -- fantastic for laps -- sits on the hotel's 33rd floor and the area features an open roof. The water is beautiful, cool and refreshing, in contrast to the warm bathwater feel of pools we've experienced back in India. And you can see the Petronas Towers while you're swimming. Now how cool is that?

Nice! Glad you're enjoying SE Asia, will need to compare some notes before i head out to HK in 2013
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered about that little catwalk between the two towers - is it there so they don't sway apart? So the window washers can have a short cut to the other side?
ReplyDeleteI think just the opposite- they had to engineer the bridge so it could handle the swaying the towers naturally do. There must be a lot of give to the connections. (we didn't go on the bridge as tickets were gone when we tried to go- next time) The window washers hang from cranes that jut way out of the top of the towers.
ReplyDeleteThat is the straightest I have ever seen Sarah's hair!
