Museum Trekking In Pokhara

There's a nice museum in Pokhara that's dedicated to telling the story of mountaineering in Nepal. It's filled with breathtaking photos, good descriptions and stories about famous treks. There's plenty to look at from traditional Nepali supplies to modern equipment, a lot of it recklessly discarded on various mountains. Is it so hard to take a busted tent pole back down the mountain?

The museum, one of the rare modern buildings in Nepal.

A series of mannequins in traditional garb. And a few in modern dress.

A big photo of a small bag (actually, size M). Outside is a mini-me Everest for kiddie climbing.
