Playing Around In India

There's no shortage of toys in an aisle at various dry goods stores, consisting of the usual dolls, trucks and blocks. Actual toy stores are rare, but occasionally you'll find a sort of cheap-o novelty stall. And then, you might find something interesting.

Oh, say, how about a psychotic doll? A toy you'd be hard pressed to find in the States: a cricket set.

Soccer balls. We're sure it's just a design choice, but the mini black hexagonal sections sure look small. Ink saving? Out of the wall and onto the kid's bed, the Ganesha doll.

Finally, not a toy by definition. But definitely the ugliest umbrella in the world.
