Tires Of The World Unite!

Bring Us Your Retreads! In India, stores of a similar feather flock together. If you want dishes, you go to the part of town where dozens of dish stores all share the same blocks. It's sort of like those American "Auto Malls" that exist in the ex-urbs.

We're not sure how it helps the various merchants selling the exact same stuff, but perhaps the sheer overwhelming stock of items means customers usually go home with more than they came for. Or, at least, they know that if one store doesn't have what they want, they don't have far to go to find another vendor. Call it five-stop shopping.

Tires make for a funny specialty operation. It's small store after small store, packed with big product.

Sarah, looking a little lost and, well, er, tired, consulting the guidebook to get us out of wheel world.
