The Sensory Of Senso-ji

The Asakusa section of Tokyo houses one of the city's most magnificent temples, Senso-ji. It's set in a park-like area, complete with smaller pagodas and gates, creating a festive and open atmosphere for the crowds that gather there.

The big daddy, kept pristine, of course, by the Japanese.

A section of the beautiful ceiling. The complex is a photographer's dream, beautiful layers at every turn.

And a variety of buildings, like this impressive five-tiered pagoda. A final, lovely detail.
