Domestic Life In The Villages Of India

Ahh, the bucolic life of an Indian village. Hay rides and sari dances. While daily life might be slower than in the city, it's not quite a laid-back paradise.

You want water? Then you pump water. Once out in the drab countryside, you get a better understanding of how the fabulous textile designs and colors really make a difference in brightening up a harsh existence.

Domestic life, domestic looks. As expected, houses are spartan. But there's still room for a stuffed animal and some Bollywood glamour posters.

The daily prayer.

Houses go up; houses are left to fall down. Ruins are found among the occupied.

A woman you don't want to mess with - she's got a goat and fire.
